شاہ حسین (1538–1599) پنجابی صوفی کوی اتے سنت سن۔ آپ دے پتا جی شیخ عثمان ڈھڈے جلاہے دا کم کردے سن۔ اوہناں دا جنم لاہور (پاکستان) وچ ہویا۔ اوہ اکبر اتے جہانگیر دے سمکالی سن اتے اوہناں دے گورو ارجن دیوَ جی اتے چھجو بھگت نال گوڑھے سنبندھ سن۔ اوہناں نوں پنجابی وچ کافی دا موڈھی وی منیاں جاندا ہے۔ اوہناں دے بہتے النکار جلاہیاں دی روزانہ زندگی نال سنبندھت ہن۔ اوہناں دی رچنا سنگیتک اتے سادی ہون کرکے لوکاں وچ بہت ہی ہرمن پیاری رہی ہے۔ اوہناں دی قبر اتے مزار باغبانپرے وچ شالیمار باغ دے نیڑے ہے۔ اتھے ہر سال اوہناں دا عرص 'میلہ چراغاں' دے ناں ناں منایا جاندا ہے۔

Shah Hussain (1538 – 1599) was a legendary Punjabi Sufi poet and saint. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, to Sheikh Usman, a weaver belonging to the Dhudha clan of Rajputs, he lived during the reigns of Mughal Emperors Akbar and Jahangir. A close contemporary and friend of Guru Arjan Dev Ji and Chhajju Bhagat, Shah Hussain is considered a pioneer of the Kafi form of Punjabi poetry. The rich metaphors and symbols used in his Kafis are drawn from the day-to-day life of a weaver. Set to soulful music, his poetry is renowned for its profound simplicity and emotional resonance. His shrine is located in Baghbanpura, near the Shalimar Gardens in Lahore, where his annual urs, famously known as the "Mela Chiraghan" (Festival of Lights), is celebrated every year.
